Wedding Attire

In the world of wedding attire, traditional groom attire was an afterthought, whatever money was left over take it to mens wearhouse. Thankfully, those days are gone! Now, if you’re standing opposite a gorgeous gown you can unleash their inner fashionistos (or comfortistas) with a whole tux-box of options.

Let's break down the attire scene:

The Classics: Tuxedos for days.

This is black-tie ballroom elegance, perfect for channeling James Bond (minus the Walther PPK, hopefully). Just remember, unless you're royalty or waltzing into Buckingham Palace, a white tie ensemble is a bit much.

Featured here is a traditional black tuxedo, paired with a bowtie, crisp white shirt, and Patton leather shoes.

The Contenders: Suits in all their glory.

Navy and charcoal are the safe zones, but don't be afraid to branch out with a patterned suit or a lighter color for a spring or summer wedding. Just be sure your suit doesn't upstage the bride's dress (looking at you, lime green three-piece).

This rust orange corduroy suit was perfect for this rustic setting.

The Dark Horses: Mixing it up with separates.

Think a sharp blazer and dress pants for a more relaxed vibe. This is a great option for a beach wedding or a backyard ceremony.s. OR for a more formal look, introduce a dinner jacket. For a black tie wedding this will stave the stodgy formality and allow you and your guests to have fun.

Featured here a white dinner jacket with silver tipping on the lapel and cuffs. She has an incredible personality and I wanted to make something that reflected that.

The Wild Cards: For the groom who marches to the beat of his own drum.

This could be a funky patterned shirt, a statement tie, or even suspenders (done right, of course). Just remember, your wedding photos will be around forever, so choose wisely!

Overall, the wedding attire landscape is all about expressing your own style, whether it's James Bond debonair or quirky character. As long as you feel confident and comfortable (and maybe check with the bride/groom to make sure your outfit coordinates), you're good to go! As a custom clothing house we are here to listen to your ideas and make your dreams become a reality!
