Step 1 - Consultation (in our showroom or at your home)
During your consultation we like to start with a discussion. We are not here to SELL you clothing, you can go shopping anywhere. This is very different. You are interested in this process because you know you can achieve more. We will talk about what you hope to achieve and how you want the world to see you. If at your home, we can go through your closet and discuss what works and does not work. From there we measure you up and go through our books of fabrics. The fabrics are an assortment from some of the best mills in the world. We offer fabrics for tailored clothing and shirting’s. We will help direct you to those most suited to your needs and design the garment(s) with you.
Step 2 - Construction
All of our clothing is made by hand in New York and our shirts are made in New Jersey. With a team of expert tailors assembled from around the world we are able to create patterns and designs no other clothier can. The factories we’ve partnered with range in grades of handwork, our discussion will determine the level of skill required.
Step 3 - Final Fitting [Two Parts Optional]
Part 1) Optional Roughly two-three weeks from the initial fitting we will have a follow up fitting with a basted garment. This is to ensure the fit is entirely satisfactory prior to cutting the final fabric.
Part 2) All garments take roughly 6-8 weeks to be constructed, after the initial basted fitting. Once completed your Bard will reach out to you and schedule a follow up appointment. In the final fitting we will try on all garments to ensure everything has both exceeded your expectations and delivers our standards of quality. If there are any final adjustments that need to be made, we will address them here in a weeks time, and get the garments back to you.
Step 4 - Easy Reorder
Just remember: it takes 6 months to build a Rolls Royce and 13 hours to build a Toyota. While you may not receive your order tomorrow, we do take pride in the ease of moving forward. Through our consultation process and the level of attention we give, we look to build relationships, and with your measurements on file, building your wardrobe is as simple as a text “I need a summer sport coat”, and a few weeks later it appears on your doorstep.
